I am Jaymie but I go by Jay. I was born in the heart of America in a wide state called Kansas. Summers were spent in Denver and flying planes at the age of 3 made me a pro and I always had a love for it! That culture gave me ideas and thoughts that sparked creativity in me at a very young age. I never knew what to do with it though so I did it all. From choreographing dances, to swimming on the swim team, to trying to play tennis, to giving track a go, for attempting to become the best prose speaker, to joining various clubs. I mean you name it, I tried it! My step father began calling me scatterbrain once I hit high school because of all the things I wanted to do. Eventually it just made sense that I embodied a scatterbrain. But I wanted to take it up a notch I am not just an ordinary scatterbrain no way. I wanted to be the scatterbrain that stood out and represented where I came from. I realized adding in the “KC” instead of just the “c” gave me the flare I needed. And from there sKCatterbrain was born! 

I am a free-spirited, nurturing, corny joke having, good time lovin’, cartoon watching, feminine enthusiast that loves living my life out the best way possible. I was never afraid to try as much as I was afraid to fail. Which now, makes absolutely no sense. But I now realize I have set myself up to be exactly who I am today. I truly encapsulate everything that is design. I value the love of design and do my best to represent exactly what my client needs. I am a multi talented creator with an eye for great design, the heart to inspire, and the mind to always learn something new!
